Pros

  • Allows users to sync their iCloud with an Android device
  • Multiple calendars can be simultaneously synced on the same device
  • Users can optionally push calendar updates from their Android onto the iCloud

Cons

  • User needs to make confusing two-factor authentication login themselves outside of the app

Just like what it sounds like, Sync for iCloud is a free Android application that allows users to synchronize their iCloud calendar to the Android device.

Users should be aware that Sync for iCloud has not been made by the Apple MacOS developers, but is instead an independent project carried out by a team of unaffiliated developers.

Sync for iCloud provides ways to synchronize different accounts and connects directly to iCloud servers in order to securely retrieve your data. Your iCloud calendar can either be synced once or continuously, depending on user preference configurations.

No matter how many accounts or calendars you have, it's easy to seamlessly integrate an iCloud calendar with an Android device. Users are able to select default calendars in order to manage events, and push changes made on the Android device to their iCloud.

Some users have complained that Sync for iCloud is not very intuitive to use. The app requires generating additional login information, which is hard for some users to keep track of. It can be tricky to create the two-factor authentication login that the app requires in order to sync with iCloud.
